- There is no limit to the number of projects you may enter. Please use a separate form for each project. The entry fee for each project entered is £30 including VAT.
- You may enter the same project in more than one category (i.e. Commercial & Public Access, and Structural) with no additional entry fee.

Guidelines for Categories
Commercial & Public Access Category
This category includes all public and commercial buildings, where there is access for the public. It can be funded by public or private clients. Examples include schools, libraries, offices, buildings with public access, hotels and restaurants and public leisure facilities. Projects entered in this category must not be entered in the private category.
Private
This category includes privately funded projects for private (non-commercial) clients. Examples include residential property, to include new build and extensions. Projects entered in this category must not be entered in the Commercial & Public Access category
Conservation / Restoration
This category includes any project in the private or public sector in which conservation and/or restoration is the primary objective. The project may be structural or non-structural. Extensions and new buildings are excluded from this category. The scale of the work is not a significant criterion.
Furniture
Entries are invited for furniture to the highest standards of design made either as pieces, or as batches from workshops as well as larger manufacturers. Anyone may enter any piece(s) with the permission of the current owner.
Completing the form:
- Write the project title exactly as you wish the project to be referred to in any publicity.
- The location should be brief e.g. London, or Suffolk, as this information may be published. Do not write the whole address. This should be provided under Building Owner.
- Please list as many companies of the project team as you can
- Enter the name of the Building Owner, unless it is confidential (as may be the case with some privately owned buildings). You are reminded that this information will be displayed at public exhibitions.
- Enter the company names of the architect, builder, structural engineer and joinery company.
- Enter the name of your wood supplier if they have been particularly helpful, or contributed in some special way. It would be helpful if you could explain this nomination in the ‘Brief Description’ section.
- Please list the country of origin for all wood species used if known.
- Please tick the category or categories you wish your project to be entered in (guidelines above) by hand, once you have completed and printed the entry form.
Project Description
- A 500 word limit applies to the project description
- The project description should include:
- identification of the species of wood used and reason for specification where relevant- special design features of functional and decorative relevance to the building
- any structural or other special requirements or conditions of/or applying to its installation or behaviour on completion
- any innovation in the project relevant to the wood

- Complete your name, address and email details. All further information, including notification of being shortlisted, will be sent to this name, address and email.
Photography
- All photos and images must be digitally supplied at 300 dpi resolution in either tiff, eps or jpg format.
- Please note that the quality of the photography provided is influential in the selection of the shortlist by the judges.
