The Project
When not in use, this 16m long reception desk provides a piece of sculpture for the entrance to 55 Baker Street creating a striking art gallery-style appeal. Made in solid London Plane with a faceted shaped solid timber front panel to echo the many facets of the building, the propulsion system tidies away keyboards and monitors to create clean lines that are totally in keeping with its environment. The whole enormous desk gives the feeling of a fallen trunk lying in reception.
