Deadline extended to 15 July 2022

Now is your last chance to enter the Wood Awards 2022, with organisers putting out a final call for teams to submit their UK-based wood project.

Established in 1971, the Wood Awards: Excellence in British Architecture and Product Design is the most prestigious award in the UK for wood-based buildings and products.

The Wood Awards’ elite independent judging panel not only judges all submitted entries but also visits the shortlisted projects in person, making the Wood Awards a uniquely rigorous competition.

The Awards are split into two main categories: Furniture & Product and Buildings. The Gold Award is given to the project that the judges deem to be the winner of winners.

There are multiple awards given across both categories. Furniture & Product is split into Bespoke and Production Made, with the Student Designer category being reintroduced in 2022, to celebrate their achievements after two years of disruption many students experienced due to Covid.

The 2022 building categories are likely to be Commercial & Leisure, Education & Public Sector, Interiors, Private and Small Projects. Other awards, such as Structural and Existing Building awards, can be given at the judges’ discretion.

With permission from the owner, anyone associated with a building or product completed in the last two years can enter. The full terms and conditions are available at www.woodawards.com.
