The Wood Awards will partner with Material Matters for the second year running to showcase the Wood Awards’ shortlisted buildings and furniture. The exhibition will feature work from some of the most interesting contemporary architects, designers and makers working with wood in the UK.
Taking place once again at the iconic Bargehouse at Oxo Tower Wharf on London’s Southbank, the Material Matters fair celebrates the importance of materials and their abilities to shape our lived experience. Alongside the installations and exhibits, an extensive talks programme will investigate how the design industry can address issues around the circular economy and why material intelligence is so important to us all.
