Combining style and honest functionality, this elegant outdoor seat has been refined to ensure longevity.

Emerging from a desire to create a sustainable and lasting solution to outdoor seating, the Huers Chair has been carefully designed and handcrafted to be robust and repairable.

The design is guided by the joinery and working techniques, resulting in a precise form dictated by clearfunction. European oak is used to create the structural frame, while a sweeping steam-bent backrest, made using local windfall where possible, creates a strong yet simple outline.

Traditional timber frame joinery is designed to work with the wood’s movement. These joinery details are celebrated and visible, providing an honest and aesthetically pleasing approach that allows the customer to understand the construction method.
