As a not-for-profit competition, the Wood Awards can only happen with collaborative industry sponsorship. We are always looking for sponsors who understand and support the spirit of the competition. The Wood Awards, first established in 1971 as the Carpenters’ Awards, continues to recognise, encourage and promote excellence in architecture and product design using wood. With eight main categories (Commercial & Leisure, Educations & Public Sector, Interiors, Private, Small Project, Bespoke, Production Made and Student Designer) the Awards have a wide scope over the industry, celebrating outstanding design, craftsmanship and installation. The Awards are judged by a panel of professional experts and specialists who donate copious amounts of their time to judge all submitted entries and visit the shortlisted projects in person to ensure the Awards maintain their reputation as a true mark of excellence.
The projects shortlisted for the Wood Awards all receive social media and PR exposure as well as the potential accolade of being a Wood Awards winner. Everyone involved in the shortlisted projects will be invited to the Wood Awards ceremony and we hope the Timbergram invitation will be a perfect token to remember their involvement in the event.
