A laminated English Sweet Chestnut structural frame was chosen primarily to provide a locally sourced building. The inherent beauty of English Sweet Chestnut was also an important factor in opting for an exposed structure. To maintain a consistent appearance the joinery (windows, doors & panelling) was also supplied by the same specialist timber frame company.
