Andrew Lawrence

Andrew is one of the leading timber experts in the world and has helped engineer many iconic timber structures including Haut in Amsterdam, Canary Wharf Crossrail Station in London and Metz Pompidou in France.

He is an Arup Fellow, represents the UK on the European Timber Design Code Committee, and is Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor at Cambridge University.

He is also a member of the new UK Building Advisory Committee, with significant expertise in the assessment of existing structures, and is committed to improving the safety and sustainability of construction.

Andrew lectures worldwide on the structural use of timber and is regularly called to provide expert comment in the media.
