The Wood Awards 2026 Call for Entries has officially closed.
Thank you to everyone who submitted projects this year across the Building, Furniture and Product categories. Once again, the response has highlighted the remarkable breadth of talent, creativity and craftsmanship taking place across the UK using wood.
From innovative architecture and carefully crafted furniture to thoughtful interventions and experimental designs, this year’s entries continue to demonstrate the growing importance of timber within contemporary architecture and design.
Over the coming months, the Wood Awards judging panels — made up of leading architects, designers and industry experts — will review all submissions before visiting shortlisted projects in person as part of the final assessment process.
The Wood Awards 2026 shortlist will be announced in early September, ahead of this year’s exhibition during the London Design Festival in partnership with Material Matters.
The exhibition will bring together shortlisted projects from across the categories, celebrating excellence in timber design, material innovation and sustainable thinking.
