After thirteen years with Norman Foster, David founded David Morley Architects in 1987. Together, his team have designed five hundred projects, winning over one hundred awards, including the Wood Awards Gold Award, Sustainable Practice of the Year, Most Sustainable Building in the UK of the Year, and Best Mixed-Use Development in the UK.
Key projects include the London 2012 Olympic Water Polo Arena, The Dickson Poon China Centre, University of Oxford, 500 new homes at Matlock Spa, the Plimsoll Building and Coal Offices at King’s Cross. His team have been the framework architects for the Royal Parks for over twenty years producing notable buildings such as the Regent’s Park Hub.
David published his first book Five by 5 in 2012 and has featured in Sky TV’s Developing Britain series. He judges RIBA Competitions as well as the Wood Awards.
